Sweet Auburn Springfest 2020 – What to Know Before You Go

 

The Purpose of the Sweet Auburn Festival

is to Bring Awareness to the Historic Sweet Auburn District in Atlanta, Georgia

 

 

Location

Join us in the Historic Sweet Auburn District in Downtown Atlanta. The Event will take place on John Wesley Dobbs , between Piedmont and Hilliard street, on Bell street, Fort Street, and Hilliard Street  between John Wesley Dobbs and Auburn ave.These streets will be closed to thru traffic from 8:00am

Festival Hours Saturday May 7, 11:AM to 9PM, Sunday, May 8, 12PM-8PM
 

Parking/Transportation

There are limited parking lots in the area. Motor vehicles will be encouraged to park outside of venue area. Illegal parking will be strickly enforced.  We encourage all participates to TAKE MARTA or travel via the Atlanta Streetcar. 

MOST STREETS IN THE AREA WILL BE CLOSED TO THROUGH TRAFFIC.

Drop Off:

Bird Ride.Bike Ride and Share Ride is highly recommended.  Drop off on Jessie Hill and Auburn Ave and Fort Street and Auburn Ave

 

Festival Amenities

To ensure your time at the Sweet Auburn Springfet is enjoyable, we offer the following services for our guests:

  • ATMs: ATMs are available.  so there’s no shortage of available cash.

  • FIRST AID: First Aid is available and will be located on the east  and west side of the Food court. If you are unable to get to the First Aid station, please find a Sweet Auburn Springfestl staff member to assist you.

  • LOST & FOUND: Lost and Found is located at all the stages.

  • RESTROOMS: Restrooms will be located throught the event.

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

look for designated Bird drop, bike rack and ride share areas

Interactive activities

 

Come out and see if you can climb "The Wall" , let the kids take a ride down the Giant Slide or take a twirl

 

around the water pool.

 

Get your paint tickets. Don't forget to travel down Fort street and Hilliard street for some great
