the JBMF mission, we strive to promote the Arts, education, business and
philanthropic events as we also strive to preserve America's traditional
heritage of Blues & Soul music in venues and schools, nationwide and
abroad.
The 2010 Jus` Blues Music
Awards Week will consist
of five major events.
Technology Conference 2010
- This is a
must-attend event for music technology professionals and artists
interested in promoting, marketing and driving sales via new
technologies. Attendees will have an opportunity to network with the
movers and shakers of the music business and technology world. The JBMF Night of the Living Legends - A formal banquet celebrating the 2010 Jus` Blues Music Awards Honorees. Previous tributes have included the late great Lowell Fulson, Willie Mitchell, Latimore, Maxine Brown, Joe Simon, Al Bell, Millie Jackson, Solomon Burke, Denise LaSalle, Bobby Rush and a host of honorable legends.
2009 Jus` Blues Music
Awards - A pre-eminent
entertainment Awards ceremony acknowledging the accomplishments of some
of the brightest artists, radio personalities and industry professionals
in the genre of Blues & Soul music by popular votes from the
www.jusbluesmusicfoundation.org website.
The Juke Joint Party
- In conjunction
with the sponsors, supporters, members, musicians and the fans, the JBMF
will host a concert to the public featuring many of the artists from the
2010 Jus` Blues Music Awards. Jus` Blues Music Festival - Open to all, a free all day music festival showcasing national and local Blues & Soul music entertainers will perform in W. C. Handy Park on Beale Street in downtown Memphis. |
