INTRODUCTION FROM THE SWEET AUBURN SPRINGFEST COMMITTEE

Greetings,

Thank you very much for your interest in performing at "Sweet Auburn Springfest 2012" and other events. The selection process is based on overall score: performance, content, appearance, stage presence category or listening pleasure and of, course - Talent.

Artist who are selected to perform at the Sweet Auburn Festivals, usually perform a minimum of 10 minutes. However, there will be some Artist who may perform longer. Bands, choirs, dance groups and or specialty acts will be given a specific amount of time.

Our goals are to celebrate the Heritage of Auburn Avenue and to produce the best free largest "Street Concert" of the year over the 3-day weekend of our Sweet Auburn Springfest May 11th, 12th & 13th details are on: www.sweetauburn.com

When you register for an opportunity to perform at a Sweet Auburn Event, we look at all the acts submitted to us for the particular genre during that audition segment. At the end of each segment we select Artists to promote and showcase along with our event.

If you are selected to perform, this will be an opportunity for you to promote your talent to thousands live and in-person. Not only that, but over a million will see your name on the entertainment schedule via the Internet and a photo with a link to your Web Site. This is one of the best economical Public Relations vehicles for any Artist(s) selected to perform.

IF YOU REGISTER AS A SOLO ACT, YOU MUST PERFORM AS A SOLO ACT AT THE FESTIVAL. NO ADDITIONS INCLUDING DANCERS, MUSICIANS, HYPE MAN ETC ON THE DAY OF PERFORMANCE. REGISTER THE WAY YOU PLAN TO PERFORM. MAKE SURE YOU READ TALENT AUDITION FACTS ON AUDITION HOME PAGE OF WEBSITE/

BEST TIP FOR TODAY: Live Auditions should perform As If You Are At Sweet Auburn Festival!
