Downtown
Atlanta's Sweet Auburn Festival is a street fair with a message.
On Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., and Malcolm X T-shirts, and in
the reggae and rap music that is heard from dozens of sound
systems along Auburn Avenue on Saturday was about pride in the
African-American heritage.
And many among the 200,000 people in attendance were buying the
message. |
