Workshops: -Screenwriting Bootcamp: 2 days (Fri. May 9- 6-8 p.m. & Sat. May 10- 12-2 p.m.) This bootcamp will feature experienced writers educating new and aspiring writers on how to take an idea and turn it into a profitable property. This workshop will provide insight on the do’s and don’ts in screenwriting and the path to success. May 10- 4-5 p.m.) Location: TBD This panel will educate filmmakers on the industry procedure on how to pitch a film on the phone, in person and in writing. These professionals will converse and educate the audience through a discussion on how to take what you have and make something of it the Hollywood way in your own city. Our goal is to create a new way of thinking for independent filmmakers and to educate them on how to become successful tomorrow by using available resources today.

The “Cast Me If You Can” panel will consist of talent agents, a film producer, actors & actresses. This panel at SAIFF will focus on the struggles and successes of casting for small and big budget films. The panel will also cover the do’s and don’ts of auditioning and on-set etiquette. Lastly success secrets will be revealed on how to grasp the attention of a director, producer or filmmaker to land the big role.
