May 7-11, 2008 The Sweet Auburn Springfest 2008 presents  the Sweet Auburn International Film Festival (SAIFF).  The Festival will be held at 3-4 different venues on Auburn Avenue: Auburn Research Library (101 Auburn Avenue) & other locations are TBD.  For more info. read below.... (View festival news on next page-schedule of events and news).  SAIFF will feature the African American Cinema Gallery & Hispanic Cinema Museum along with various panels, great films, celebrity attractions, family entertainment, prizes, award ceremony, screenwriting bootcamp and more.

2008 CALL FOR FILM SUBMISSIONS

If you're a talented filmmaker with a film that you feel has what it takes to take you to Hollywood you need to submit your film today.  The 2008 international film festival is going to provide you with the platform to make your dreams come true. Surprise celebrity judges along with the audience will help select the best showcased film.  Submitting your film doesn't mean that it will be showcased at the festival.  We will review each film individually and then decide on the top 35-40 projects to be showcased at the festival. Films that are submitted between the months of June-Sep. will have the opportunity to tour with The African American Cinema Gallery (AACG) and Hispanic Cinema Museum (HCM).  HCM & AACG will collectively tour more than 20 states and 30 cities in 07-08.
