Performing Live Audition? - Track performers only need to perform 1 song (your best song). Your Raw talent will be evaluated. Bands doing a live audition: must be self contained bringing your amps, mics or what you need to present. Bands play for 10 minutes
Mailing Your Audition Showcase?
- Send in brief medley of types of song(s) you wish to perform at
festival. If a Band, must send in live playing demo not
studio.
If Selected to Perform at a Sweet Auburn Festival: Most CD track performing slots are a least 10 minutes (sometimes more) Choirs, Live Instruments and Bands15 to 45 minutes , sometimes more depending on amount of live instruments and set up.
Selection Process: Selected non bias Judges score sheets for talent and highest scores are reviewed for selection in every category or genre. IF YOU are Selected Talent will be posted on www.sweetauburn.com entertainment schedule and notification by email or phone.
All genres accepted. Comedy, Rock, Country, R&B, Blues, Jazz, Poetry, Dance, Models, Host, Designers showcase fashions, etc.
Audition Registration: One person performing = Solo $50 (Audition Registration fees are Non-Refundable) More than one person performing = Group $100 (Audition Registration fees are Non-Refundable) 2 GOOD FEST 2 BE TRUE 4 ONE We will accept 1 audition submission for both Sweet Auburn Heritage 2010 and Springfest 2011 at the following rate for a limited time: Solo $75 Group $150 If selected to perform, you will be issued a performance slot at both Sweet Auburn Heritage Fest 2010 in October and the Sweet Auburn Springfest in May 2011.
SPECIAL NOTE: (Normally, you list your availability days which leaves flexibility when scheduling. For example, if you are available friday, saturday, and sunday, your chances of being selected and getting a desireable time slot is greater. However, if you are selected for the 2 For 1 (Both Festivals) but we have no more room or performance slots in October's Heritage Festival, you will receive your preferred day for the Springfest 2011 to perform OR be given an additional performance opportunity at one of our other events in addition to performing at the Springfest 2011.

YOU ONLY NEED TO AUDITION DURING 1 OF THE SEGMENTS AND WILL BE NOTIFIED WITHIN SEGMENT TIME PERIOD. (example) Audition on August 1st and you will find out by or before September 6th if you made it.

If Selected, there are no fees required to be on our stages. You just have to be the best of the best in your category and audition segment.

ANY SUBMISSIONS AFTER DEALINE March 31st 2011 WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR SPRINGFEST 2011
3) Applicants Outside of the United States Only can make a Google Check Out Request by sending email to cwebinc@bellsouth.net with completed Audition/Showcase application attached and Google Request in subject of email. Do not send photo and demo until receipt of payment is confirmed.
PLEASE NOTE: If using option 2 or 3 once receipt of registration is confirmed you can email your demo to cwebinc@bellsouth.net with Artists name in subject, (example) Your Name Audition demo/Photo. Be sure to include photo if available. Or you can still mail demo and photo if electronic submission is not possible once you have confirmed registration by receipt to cardholders email.
