Performing Live Audition/Showcase? - Track performers need to perform 2 songs (your best 2 songs). Your Raw talent will be evaluated. Bands doing a live audition: must be self contained bringing your amps, mics or what you need to present. Can pre-register online or by mail for Live Auditions. Bands play for 10 minutes during audition but get more time on festival stage if selected. Mailing Your Audition/Showcase? - Send in 2 song(s) you wish to perform at festival along with your application and fee. If a Band, must send in live playing demo not studio produced. ONLINE Submission: - First Register you audition on line and look for receipt in your email from 2nd office.com before attempting to resubmit to verify your submission was confirmed. Then Send demo to email: cwebinc@bellsouth.net once your receipt is confirmed in your email that you are registered. Youtube link, mp3, etc. (PLEASE NOTE IF IT TAKES MORE THAN ONE CLICK TO LISTEN TO YOUR DEMO IT MAY AFFECT YOUR PROCESS. Selection Process: Selected non bias Judges score sheets for talent and highest scores are reviewed for selection in every category or genre. IF YOU are Selected Talent will be posted on www.sweetauburn.com entertainment schedule for event and notification by email or phone.
If Selected to Perform at a Sweet Auburn Festival: Most CD track performing slots are a least 10 minutes (sometimes more) Choirs, Live Instruments and Bands15 to 45 minutes , sometimes more depending on amount of live instruments and set up.
All genres accepted. Comedy, Rock, Country, R&B, Blues, Jazz, Poetry, Dance, Models, Host, Designers showcase fashions, etc.
After your Audition you will be contacted within the time period of the segment which you auditioned. (see below information regarding segments) IF SELECTED FOR REGISTRATION AT FALL FESTIVAL AUTOMATICALLY IN SPRINGFEST 2012 (2 FOR 1 AUDITIONS WILL BE HELD JUNE THROUGH AUGUST 31ST. MAIL IN AUDITIONS MUST BE POST MARKED BY AUGUST 31ST 2011.
AUDITION/SHOWCASE SEGMENTS FOR FALL FESTIVAL Segment 1 June 4th thru June 29th Segment 2 July 2nd thru July 31st Segment 3 August 6th thru August 28th SWEET AUBURN FALL FESTIVAL, OCTOBER 1ST AND 2ND, 2011 YOU ONLY NEED TO AUDITION DURING 1 OF THE SEGMENTS AND WILL BE NOTIFIED WITHIN SEGMENT TIME PERIOD. (example) Audition on June 4th and you will find out by or before June 29thh if you made it.
If Selected, there are no additional fees required to be on our stages. You just have to be the best of the best in your category and audition showcase segment. There is no compensation paid to Artists for their performance. We will promote and provide the platform for your PR/Marketing campaign and your talent has to do the rest. You may become part of live historical footage or photo's that only further promotes YOU the Artists. Our program is designed to afford independent and local Artists the same marketing opportunities major labels and artists enjoy... so IF YOU get selected to perform, maximize your campaign opportunity. Past performing Artists must keep up their "A" game. Past performers are not automatically placed on stage as each year we see new talent and you are placed in the same pool of selection for the Best of the Best! OF COURSE IF YOU ARE ONE OF THE BEST and DON'T WAIT UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE WHEN WE ARE NEAR FULL CAPACITY, YOU WILL BE ON OUR STAGE.
