The Spirit of Sweet Auburn in conjunction with The Sweet Auburn Heritage
Festival invites you to be a part of this historical community campaign to TAKE A STAND against Crime and Violence.

The time has come to reclaim our homes, our schools, our streets and our neighborhoods. We cannot accept drugs, crime and violence as normal.  Crime and violence is not black, brown or white, urban or suburban it impacts all of us.

Gates are not high enough to keep it out.  We cannot hire enough police to solve it.  We will be safe when men and women of goodwill come together and take united action and make our communities safe.

TAKE A STAND was developed in response to the high incidents of Crime and Violence within our Communities.   The TAKE A STAND Campaign is inviting representatives from all public and community  organizations as well elected officials, community leaders, clergy, individuals that are committed to making our communities safe. The TAKE A STAND Campaign is designed to bring forth unity of purpose within our community.

The success of this campaign is contingent upon your participation.  We anticipate this spark to catch on and ignite positive efforts within everyone involved, all the while promoting a crime free, safe  environment within our communities.
